Jeanne's Art showing in a Museum!

Well, we didn’t see this one coming.

An unexpected opportunity fell into our laps here at jeanneoneil.com

We noticed that the Historical Museum in our beautiful town here on Cape Cod was running an Art Show and Sale event this coming weekend. Since we are always interested in sharing Jeanne’s art with the world - and are very interested in our local community, we saw this as a fantastic chance to achieve both goals.

We reached out to our new friends at the Centerville Historical Museum and asked about the details of the event, and to our great delight, they were able to secure us a spot at this weekend's show.

They are hosting an Antique Car show at the same time, so we are expecting this to be quite an exciting time.

The Historical Museum is located at 513 Main Street in Centerville, MA and the event runs from 9 am - 2 pm.

If you are in the area, we hope you stop by.

Also, a quick update on our other exciting news. A reminder that Jeanne has three pieces entered in Fine Art Americas BILLBOARD art contest.

Every entry that gets at least 100 votes will become a contest finalist.

On September 15th, a panel of judges will review all of the finalists and pick twenty winning images to appear on billboards throughout the United States during the fall and winter. All billboards will be located near major metropolitan areas (e.g. Chicago, Los Angeles, Atlanta, etc.)

Well, that’s AWESOME! As of now, Jeanne’s three pieces are doing pretty well -

It's not too late to vote! We still have over a month of voting ahead - so we hope we can tap Jeanne’s network and secure a place as a finalist. We are off to a great start.

Finally - one more bit of Art Contest news. We are very happy to share that Jeanne's recent “Swimming Striper” painting has won 1st place in the “FISH” contest at Fine Art America.

Her artwork was recognized among 254 talented artists and 451 pieces of art. Well done Jeanne!

We hope everyone is enjoying what’s left of the summer.

And if you are on the Cape this weekend we hope we see you at the Museum!

Thanks to the entire jeanneoneil.com family for your support and encouragement. It is truly appreciated!
